Never looked in this section so hi! don't know if worrying unneccesarily, but better safe than sorry. Bumbles has these patches of bare skin on both her lower flanks. Our dogs had mites and looked similar so could be that but she had a strip across her croup that I thought was scar tissue (this was from when I bought her) but looked also the same and that grew out in around 4-5 months. Any advice welcome :) Sorry pics aren't great. She's an irish cob, not clipped so has her thick winter coat now

I've got matching bald patches on one of mine. Vet took a look yesterday and confirmed mites ? Dectomax given but I'm also giving him piriton because he's scratching so badly.

Ideally we'd clip but he's awful unless heavily sedated so we'll see.

Doesn't look like ringworm.
Bumbles would also need heavy sedation to clip, hates all things bath or clippers :)
Going to counsel vet, and apparently (according to Mr Google) ivermectin works well for mites/mange so we'll see

I rub ivermectin into his worst bits! He's been fine for a few years but a horse in the neighbouring field had them and i think they've hopped the fence ?
