Bareback Riding on roads?

I do alot bareback, including dared to go show jumping and do a 3ft clear round bareback... On gypsy... Rather round and bouncy cob= FUN
Our winter grazing is up the road from our paddock so I vault on gyp at the bottom of the field in a headcollar, gallop up to the gate, lead him down the main road, turn off onto a country lane, vault back on and ride home so yes I do, but not on a main road

Definately not!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't matter how safe the horse is or how good the rider is, accidents can happen!!! Please don't do it!

Personally, it would depend on the horse. A safe mount that I trust and know? Yes, I probably would go bareback, on occasion. Any other horse? No.
