BAREFOOT BASICS - is the company still trading?

Further to the earlier thread about the Barefoot Basics website and all of us who have ordered and never received anything/still waiting, I just googled Barefoot Basics and this came up http://companycheck.co.uk/company/OC334446. Says Companies House status: dissolved ??!! I hope this isn't defamatory but I just googled and it came up, anyone can do the same, does this mean the company no longer exists? And if so, how come their Paypal account is still active and taking our money? It's def the right company as if you scroll down to the bottom you will see director is Tracey Sloan who I've read on other posts/forums is the director of BB. I'm going to ring Companies House or Trading Standards in the morning and see if they can shed any light on the situation, I've already opened a dispute with Paypal which now looks like it will escalate to a claim. I have sent umpteen emails and left telephone messages, all of which have been completely ignored, possibly because they are no longer there? Am soooo cross, as needed a replacement hoof boot urgently, but now too late and all I want now is a full refund, wish I'd never ordered from them :(
 
I think they are, I've just had a bit of a weird situation with them. I started an order with them but didn't put it through at the final page or pay through paypal as I couldn't decide whether to include something. A few days later I did put through and paid for a bigger order. The next day I received the first order that I never actually finished. I tried to contact them to let them know but never got a response and never received the products I paid for. In the end I raised a dispute in paypal and got my money back but it just seems bizarre that they'd send me something I didn't pay for but not my actual order. All they've ended up doing is losing money and sending me something for free, all because they can't be bothered to answer their phone!
 
How weird - although it's heartening to know that there is someone still there although at the same time maddening because why are they ignoring all correspondence and telephone calls ... Good to know that you got all your money back through Paypal which is what I'm hoping to do, is it a long process by the way, how soon did you escalate from a dispute to a claim?
 
Hi I know Tracey personally and although I cannot find her 'private' email address atm I will see if I can find out what's going on through other channels for you guys.
 
I escalated it fairly quickly, within a couple of days I think. I'd tried to contact them so many times already I couldn't see the point in waiting. Once I'd done that I had my money back within a couple of weeks I think, they didn't respond to paypal either so they refunded with no problem.
 
I don't know if it's a coincidence or if 4x4 managed to get in touch with Tracey (if you did, thanks v much!!) as have just received a refund :) Thank goodness, hope everyone else receives either their goods or full refunds without further delay
 
Add me to the list, I received a refund this morning. They never replied to any of my messages but at least I now have my money back and will be very careful about online buying now!!
 
I'd never heard of them, but looking at their products I wouldn't use a 'barefoot supplier' who sells linseed lozenges :(
