I don't want to put back shoes on coblet, however I feel he needs more grip XC.
Has anyone ever used any before?
Are they any good?
Which ones would you reccomend for XC?

Thanks :)

Cavallos can be fitted with studs I know some jump in them but I'd be wary. Renegades can also be fitted with studs and glue ons are available. But many find a few wraps of athletic (aka tit) tape around the hoof to be sufficient. But of course at your own risk. Plus renegades come in great colours and are a little more forgiving on fit. Take advice from manufacturer generally they are pretty good.

Also be aware that if ridden regularly on sloshy/muddy ground many horses will grow what I call 'event' bars. These provide fab grip. But a) you have to do the work to 'educate' the foot in the need to grow them and b) you need a trimmer with the wit not to cut them out. Many do so routinely.
