Barefoot - dry weather making big difference?

Has anyone else found that in the last week their horse is starting to walk much better?

Mine is still in transition phase but with ground drying and getting flatter and firmer he walking so much better, still slow and careful on gravel and still not quite heel first but massive improvement.

Also started him on forage plus hoof balancer from pro hoof so guess that could be playing a part.

Yes, I have found the same, mine is happier now the ground is dry. I have ordered the forageplus and I am hopeful that this will help as well!

Yes my 5 are barefoot and all now doing well. no signs of abscesses thank goodness and all sound and happy.

I don't know... it's been so cold that I've totally lost all riding momentum! Now that you've said this, though, I shall give myself an arse kicking and get on with it!
