I have had my horse Jake since June and when I got him he had shoes all round and his feet were in a bad way. Got the shoes off a couple of weeks later and his feet are at a much better angle now, but really struggling to get rid of the thrush in the centre of his frog. There's a deep crack and although I clean it out daily and have been treating it, the crack just doesn't seem to be widening out at all? Will post some pics below and hopefully somebody might be able to help me
These were when i fist got him (will just post pics of his front left to compare as will take up too much space to post all feet!):
This was about a week after they came off, thrush was nearly gone
Then this is today, nearly 3 weeks after his second trim, they look alot less bullnosed but the thrush seems to have got worse in the central sulcus now the grounds got wetter
Also looks like his heels are a bit rubbed where they look whitish in this pic, is this normal? Do I need to put anything on it?
Anyone got any tips to sort this out?? He could probably do with being ridden more on the roads I know, but having trouble with spooking and bronking at the moment with him!
Thanks
