Hi all hope someone can advise me, have been walking my mare in her boots for a while as she had been quite footy on the stony lanes, but for the last few weeks have been doing a little bit on the stony lanes without boots and she is careful but not quite footy, she strides out quite well, not as good as the arena or her paddock but not ouchy, is it ok to persist to try to condition her feet or should I put the boots back on, any advice appreciated thanks

Personally, I'd persist

Thanks queen bee, two stroke as far as I can tell she's just careful, an odd big stone and she'll flinch but seems to improve as she gets more confident. I just worry if I'm doing the right thing, only really getting started into the exercise recently as I have a young pony to bring on too at the moment so time is really tight. Hope to really get stuck in now.
