I use my hoof pick to get the gravel out.
My barefoot trimmer compared it to getting dirt under your fingernails so don't get too obsessed about it!

I didn't know this was a thing?! I've got lots of gravelly tracks around the yard and don't think I have ever picked gravel out. I vaguely remember taking a smallish stone out a while back but that's it.

I don't have a huge issue with it either I get the odd small stone in the white line but that's it, I do like to give them a going over with the wire brush a few times a week though brings them up lovely and clean.

I don't have the problem at the moment but my old pony had stretched white lines and I was always digging stuff out.
