I have a barefoot Cheyenne and love it, I know others who have the London and also like it, as long as you use it with the correct pad, ask if they do a trial to see what you think, treeless is a real love hate topic. I Love
I have the barefoot London - together with the pad designed for it.
I use it on my youngster and have done since he was rising 3. He is now 4 and a different horse, but the saddle has adjusted with him.
Have also used the same saddle on my old clydesdale - he really went very well in - rounded and used his back.
I personally find the saddle very comfortable and stable - lovely to hack out in and fine for schooling and small jumps.
Next year I do intend to have another saddle for affililated showing but will keep the barefoot for hacking and schooling.
I recently had the boys backs checked and my physio could find no signs that the treeless had caused any problems.
Horse and Harmoney were very helpful. I bought mine, together with the pad, girth and stirrup leathers. The latest model is better.
This is Chancer having it on for the first time
This is Chancer recently showing with his on.
It is also fine for the low level dressage I do.
Final thing, do be honest about your bum size
I am a large 12/small 14 and a size 1 is fine, if I were a true 14, I would have needed the size 2. I dare not put on any weight so having the size 1 is good for my diet resolve.
