Hi everyone I’ve previously posted before due to being in the midst of transitioning my horse to barefoot but with being completely new to this and despite reading articles, books and things online I still have so many questions. The two main people I’ve tried to contact was nic barker at rockley farm and Angela corner AANHCP but with no avail I appreciate they may not be in this line of work anymore etc but does anyone else know of anyone that I could speak to? Many thanks.

Where are you based? My trimmer (who is based in Wiltshire) has a great website with lots of learning opportunities: https://hoofgeek.com/
Do you have a trimmer on board to help you?

Nic at Rockley doesn't give out free advice (too busy) but the Rockley website is worth a read.

I know the trimmer who runs Hoofgeek that Landcruiser has posted above and there's lots of information on there.

But otherwise post questions on here. There's loads of people who have transitioned to barefoot here - successes, failures - and most people are happy to help

thoughts on todays photos 4 weeks after shoe removal, horrendously flat feet I know! Just curious on opinions on how her feet are looking

I'm on a FB page: "Barefoot Horse Owners Group UK" which I've found very supportive right through from before transitioning, whilst going through the transitioning process, and since. Highly recommend this group; they get a lot of barefoot EP's and barefoot-friendly farriers on there too so it isn't just about people chucking hot air around.
