Barefoot Trimmers/Rasps??

Hello Guys,

My farrier was boy last night to trim my boys feet and he mentioned about if I get any little rips inbetween I can by a trimmer/rasp just to smooth it out so it doesn't rip further until their next trims.

Has anyone else heard of this or has anyone got one, knows of a website that sells them etc?

TBH I just let my clients have my old rasps for chip tidying. Most manage very well.

I bought a riders rasp but found it fiddly to use so I just bought a regular rasp from thesaddleryshop which is great - but very sharp so do use it with care

My boy needs his edges tidying every few weeks - no chips, just a roll adding... you soon get the hang of it

I've swapped from a riders rasp to a normal rasp too.
