Nitty had stress induced laminitis about a month ago and has now gone back out. she is still a bit footy over stones though.

I refuse to shoe a just turned 3yo who is not yet backed and I can't stable her easily as she stresses hugely (the lami was a result of box rest to begin with) to reduce her grass intake

what can I feed her to help her along a bit? She doesn't get any kind of feed at all at the moment so no supplements either.

BH has never needed help to go unshod so don't really know about brewers yeast, magox and probiotics.

What does everyone use and where do you get it from?

If I were you I'd ring my farrier and ask his opinion, but then I have a very well respected farrier who doesn't see the point of shoeing unless the horse needs it.

Actually meant to say farrier is out on Monday and I will be asking him. He also won't shoe unless necessary. Everytime I say about shoes for brown horse he practically has kittens!
