BARF help

after a fab homecheck we are now getting alfie the whippet to come and live with Tortoise the whippet and me.

Trying to do the best for Alfie and Tortoise i have decided to go for a BARF diet. alfie has already started his at the foster home but i now need to get tortoise on it.

Looking on some websites i have found that i can get mince slabs and veg mix for a very good price but im unsure how to feed it, eg amounts and how to include bones such as chicken wings.

if anyone else has their dogs on this type of diet can you give me examples of what they get for breakfast and dinner.

Take a look at the raw sticky above.

Start with chicken if you are moving a dog over.

I don't feed beg because after a ton of research I don't believe dogs need it. Anyway your ratio need to be around 10% bone 10% offal and 80% muscle meat over about a week or so.

Abe gets fed once a day. Today he had a chicken thigh a little piece of emu an egg and his one cube of liver.

My two have had chicken wings for breakfast - they are big chicken wings (2kgs frozen from pet shop) so they have had 2 each - Max the Lab getting the two biggest ones
