Barf supplier

Speak to your butcher - they have to pay to have their waste taken away. I get chicken carcases, big bones and sheeps heads for nothing. You could always supplement this with 'dearer' meat...

As above butcher is your best bet but if you want some assistance starting out then something like this site might be a good place to start, then you can source your own

We used to use the butchers, but began to struggle to get anything worthwhile off them - then they started charging us! Had quite a few of the local ones doing that.

Been using Landywoods in recent years, but now looking around for a new supplier.

I'll take a look at the links, thank you. Any more suggestions welcome.

I've actually been feeding Barf now for about 11 years - to cats and dogs. You started me off all those years ago Karyn - by lending me that book 'Food pets die for'. Recognise the little black mare in my sig? She's changed rather a lot in the last ten years. ;)

Sorry yes not paying attention again, she's a little bit different from when I remember her and a baby of her own, bl**dy hell is it really 10 years!!

Natural Instinct are actually in Camberley just off the M3 so it might be worth a visit and it will save the postage. Met them at a dog show and they gave me some samples which looked very good and mine ate them no problems. The other place would be Owtons Butchers in Horton Heath, they don't do much boning out themselves but you can order in bulk from them, they do chicken wings by the box and probably do lamb breast as well, might be worth a trip.
