Bargain clippers??

I need some bargain clippers for winter!

I've seen some made by Masterclip - they say they are heavy duty ones...has anyone used these/does anyone know if they are any good?

Alternatively - any ideas where i might get a bargain (am already looking on Ebay!)?

there is thread from someone on here advising on imported clippers selling on ebay, which might not be safe - best to steer clear there.

I got my lister stablemates half price farmrite.co.uk. They were half price as discontinued, but they do hold a very good range at the most reasonable prices I have seen.

The ones I've seen are a UK based seller - not the ones from Hong Kong so don't think they're the scary dangerous ones?

Yeah I bought some masterclip clippers from ebay last year.
It depends on your horse. I had an intensly itchy very shaggy one!! They cut through with no problem at all which i was impressed with. A friend also used them and had good results on her finer horse.
The only thing i would say was they vibrate quite a lot and are a bit heavy and noisy.- If your horse is ok with this they are fantastic especially for the money.

Thanks - he is not bothered by noise etc so I think I might go for them - they do seem good value
