Bargain ideas for tack storage?

Can anyone suggest a bargain way of making a tack locker? Only needs to be big enough for one saddle and one bridle, I just begrudge spending more on the locker than my tack is worth!

Pop to your local dump site and see if theres anything you can use there.

My OH made my tack locker from an old gas tank (£10 from ebay), took him about 4 hours and cost about £50 in total inc the locks, materials and welding gas.

An old freezer with a clasp lock attached - all for the price of the lock and padlock!

I had my bits in an old, metal filing cabinet I'n my stable. The great thing about it was you could hear as soon as anyone tried to open it as it was quite clunky and noisy. I would be pretty confident to say if it had a lock on there would be no way into it that wouldn't notify anyone I'n earshot that someone was trying to get I'n!
