Bargains on Ebay!

I always see nice bargains on Ebay but stolen is my main concern aswell... Does anyone know a way to check if it is stolen before you buy? :S
 
As long as it's up to £100 in an auction, rather than a Buy it Now price, I wouldn't worry too much about it being stolen tbh! Loads of people just start auctions really low to get people interested, but quality stuff still goes for a decent price in the end.

I'm watching these Regent Oakley boots, my dream boots :o Currently at £2.20, praying they stay in my budget!

I don't think there is any way of checking if something's stolen though?
 
May be a bargain now, but if it has a few days to go, it will get a few more bids. So long as the seller has a good amount of feedback, I wouldn't be worried about it being stolen. :)
 
FleabittenT , PM me if you aren't successful. I have a pair of Regents (can't remember if they are Oakley, but they cost me £125 15 years ago) that were only ever used for about 5 shows per year so are in pretty good order. Size 5 standard leg and you get free garter straps with them!!!
 
Yes some great bargains on ebay and from genuine sellers ive had lorry and other bits at great prices just got a big fridge for my lorry just one problem........ It wont fit thru the grooms door into the living so i will have to take the door and frame out !!!!!!!!!! oh bugger .......:D
 
There's a website called ' it's been knicked' or something similar. Look on there to see if it's mentioned. Haven't been on there myself so don't know if any good or not.
 
most bidders have cottoned on that if they wait till the last few minutes of an auction they will get it cheaper. i have done this for years but have only noticed in the past year or so other people practising this.

i was watching an ifor williams HB511 on ebay last week that a few hours before it ended was at 3100 (right in my budget) so prayed to god it stayed there and i would go back and bid a few minutes before it ended. and then suddenly 1 minute to go (and counting) i refreshed the page and it had flew up to 3770 in the time it took me to press the refresh button!!

I think the seller must of read the post on here cos they added this to info .THIS SADDLE HAS A MICROCHIP - SO OWNERSHIP CAN BE PROVEN -
Not everything on ebay is dodgey...i have bought four saddles from ebay at different times all have been good .
