Barley rings

Why use them? A friend has bought some, my boy likes them, hers doesn't so she gave me the bag. My horse is out of work and has a tiny bit of sugar beet to get supplements down him.

Friend has used them in the past to get weight on an elderly mare. She always picked up on Barley Rings!

I use them in the winter, good way of keeping weight on my old boy and he likes the "crunch"

I have used them for poor doers with good results, but would recommend soaking them for 10 minutes before feeding after having a horse choke on them.
