Barnsby Dressage Saddles

I want a new dressage saddle as old Optimax will not fit my new horse. As we are in deapest darkest North Devon no one will come out and fit one for me. Well only a couple that i dont want ! Nice lady at local tack store has said Barnsby will let you do template and photos / measurements yourself and then they will tell you what would suit your horse. Has any one else tried this method please? Did it work ? and which Barnsby Dressage do you all like??

I've had two Barnsby dressage saddles custom made for my difficult to fit old lady (think TB with withers and cob width!) Both beautiful quality. My saddler did all the measurements for me and ordered it.
I had the Raven first (not sure if they still do that one) and then when she outgrew that one a Luxus. Both comfortable but preferred the Luxus design. Realised how custom it was when I saw an 'off-the-peg' version of the saddle.

Only sold it because she out so much muscle on it no longer fitted her.

I didn't have my Barnsby made to measure, but mine is an off the peg APS dressage one and I absolutely love it, made a real difference to my riding and George's way of going.

I had barnsby saddles on my event pony. Seriously - the best! They were such good saddles and TBH if I had the money I would get one made to measure to fit each one of the babies....
