yes used it very successfully. You do need to use it as recommended and have it on the headcollar for a half hour before. have used it on a variety of horses and had great results particularly with one who was a very bad traveller. i'm happy to answer any questions you have
I used to use it on my horse especially if we went somewhere new and it did seem to make a difference. He was much more chilled and relaxed through the poll
Ive used one of these for over 12 months now, i havent really noticed any calming effects. But it does make a differance through his poll he's much more relaxed. I use it everytime i ride i never have time to swap it to his headcollar, so i have to use it straight off. I Find i get the same results using it straight away.
I use one for dressage, just leave it on dressage bridle as usually not time to put it on for time before hand.
I am not sure if it makes a difference or not as i have also chnaged trainers, but he is going alot better and i have heard very good things about them from my SJ trainer who is not a 'gimic' type person.
Although i also heard that top guy at Barnsby said it was totally unproven and pure money maker.....
I think depends on horse, i think the shape of it helps as distributes pressure move evenly over the headstall area and people do use magnets alot more now.......
So to round up as think i've even confused myself - i have one, like it and will carry on usuing it
I use one on a regular basis (every time I ride) on my rising 20yo - he is much softer through jax/poll with it one so much so I not have one on headcollar and one on bridle
Thanks everyone. I had one for Viento and I thought it made a difference. I have just put it on Ebay as is the wrong size for new horse (its cob) I was trying to decide if I should get a new one or not as she is not a great traveller.
