barnsby magnetic crown piece-anyone used?

was recommended this by someone in another post and looked it up it sounds great but very pricey so just wondered if anyone had tried it??

Hi again. Saw your other post...of course I don't mind!! Having read your response have a look at a Sprenger WH ultra bit. I used to own a very stressy Horse who was forever showing his tension through his mouth (used to grind his teeth and chew all the time on his bit). I bought one of these bits and it made a big difference. On the whole poll comfort...you can easily thread your noseband up over the crownpiece rather than under it. Also, try contacting equimagnets

...they may be able to make you a much cheaper alternative to the Barnsby one. Much as I liked it it is very expensive.

If it didn't work Sprenger bits re-sell very well on ebay. That seller also does them in a D ring (which is what I had).
