So as this video hasn't surfaced on here yet I thought it was worth a post. I first watched it without sound and did think it odd she kept grabbing the back of her saddle, wondered if it was a strange sort of balance thing.
Nope she has rigged up an electric shock device to it instead. Works well clearly. (police attended)

I've seen this video (and RaleighLink does a rant of it if anyone watches them lol) and I still don't get what the point of the jigger is and from all accounts it is also illegal? What a way to make a horse never want to do anything else for a human again, and those spectators were right in saying she should be banned from everywhere. Also how could she be so brasen as to just ignore all of those people shouting at her?!

I know they use them to also set bronco horses off at rodeos so God knows what she was thinking! All you would be teaching is the horse to buck, upside is she did it in front of everyone so she won't be able to escape the consequences!

Not a proper rodeos they don't. Bucking stock are trained and know what wearing the flank strap means.

Maybe at some of the less reputable rodeos but any organization worth their salt wouldn’t dare with the animal rights laws. I’m a volunteer for a large North American rodeo org (which I won’t say who on here) if that was happening here they’d be shut down immediately. There are enough concerns regarding the chuck wagons and that’s a whole thread on its own....
