Can anyone recommend a good facial barrier cream for you face in the cold weather? I usually end up with a red windchapped face! I have tried Vaseline, Nivea and shea butter but hey are all to greasy. My skin is very dry any suggestions organic would be good

I find aqueous cream pretty good and as its really cheap if it doesn't suit you you haven't lost a lot!
Also Aveeno cream with oatmeal is very easily absorbed and long lasting.

I'm finding superdrug vit e night cream really good for cold windy times at the stables, thought the day cream is better when you need to look more made up.

Body shop do a barrier cream for faces. I used it all last winter and it's great.

I get sore patches on my face when the weather gets cold and windy - none last winter. Fab stuff. It's really moisturising, but light. Got to dig it out for this Winter :D

I have got really good results from the Elisabeth Arden 8 hour cream put on over night, that soothes everything right down. Just a normal moisturiser on during the day. It might be too heavy for you though and maybe you don't want to be looking all shiny and greasy at bedtime eh? ;)

I know it's expensive, but I absolutely love Clinique Superdefense. Moisturiser with factor 25 (I think) sun protection in it. Is available in 3 or 4 different formulas for oily or dry skin etc. And a pot lasts ages (like the better part of a year).

I wear it every day, rain or shine, summer or winter, and I love it!
