Bought my tb mare a couple of years ago knowing she had sarcoids under her armpits, vet advised to leave them as they weren't causing her any issues. Never had any problems with them until today, when one looks to be open now (I think I've attached a photo!) - usually it's a small grey nodule. Obviously I'll speak to my vet about it but can anyone recommend a barrier I can use to make sure flies aren't getting to it? Obviously want it covering in one way or another but conscious that they can be made worse when messed with/some ingredients are put on them. Thank you!

I’ve just started using Filtabac cream. It’s an antibacterial sun block that looks to provide a good barrier
