He went earlier today. I think he's going to have a nice life with her, and be well looked after.
I know it was the right thing to do, so although I was sad (and had a major wobbly bottom lip moment getting him in from the field) seeing him go wasn't as bad as I was expecting. He had a new friend waiting for him, so I hope they get on
I've just had photos of him and his new friends in their stables, they've got a window so they can snuggle 
Now I am back to being horseless. My plan is to go to a trekking place in the Peak to have some fun, and some lessons at a yard that has a good reputation. I've been busy looking at places to ride whilst I'm out in Texas, then look at shares when I get back. My PhD funding runs out at the end of Sept so I'm going to wait for my first proper grown up job before buying again (or my dad might kill me
).
