If he's a tb is he registered with Weatherby's? If so the colour of the passport is linked to the year they are born rather than like the irish ones where it's linked to if their breeding is known or not.

Is it an Irish Horse board passport? In which case it’s probably because his breeding is unknown. You could check with Wetherby’s, it’s not unknown to have more than one passport. Is he chipped?

Yeah Irish. They said they lost his weatherbys passport so could order a duplicate if I wanted but it’s like 100 and they just ordered the white one cuz it was cheap and he was no longer racing so they didn’t need the weatherbys

His Wetherby’s one will give you breeding if you’re bothered. My cob had the white Irish Horse Board one, I imagine they’re very common, his type, I certainly see plenty lookalikes over here.
