Hi i was just looking for some advice regarding a saddle that i have owned for the last year or so. I bought it second hand and was told that it was a Barry Swain holistic saddle, it fitted my horse perfectly and was lovely to ride in. My horse has now changed shape and filled out and the saddle now seems to be to narrow for him. From doing some research i found that some of the saddles that Barry Swain makes are adjustable. I'm just not sure which model my sadle is or for certain if it is Barry Swain saddle as there is no makers stamp on it. I 've attached some pictures of it. Does anybody reconise it as one Barry's?

pics not working, i'll prob be able to tell if it is one of his as i have quite a few. Barrie's are adjustable, you send them to him (pm me for phone number and address if you like) with wither pattern and he will alter them, adjust flocking etc if requd.

yep, looks like 1 of barrie's: wide seat, owen panel, serge lining. you can check if it's a 'holistic' by putting cantle against your tummy and gently flexing it (only a little, carefully!), if it is holistic it will give in the middle, if not it won't.
b can adjust the width fitting on these.

yes as kerrili says it is barries - and yes can adjust width on it. just take wither pattern and post it to barrie - costs about £50-70 i think last one i had done - i live close so took it in to the workshop myself.
