Bartl saddle cloth.....

I've just ordered one of these and then got told from a friend that you can only use these with a Normal saddle cloth underneath, is this the case?

No that's not right. We have some Bartl saddle cloths, some just normal & others that are lined with sheepskin, you use them the same as any other. I have no idea where your friend got that idea......kind of strange?

What did you order ? I have some Bartl pad and numahs they are lovely quality and last for years.

Sounds strange. I have had their sheepskin cloths in the past so don't see why you would want to put something underneath?

I ordered it off eBay. it's the one with the sheepskin wither pad.
I just thought I'd check, sounded silly when she said it, but I've never seen one before and with my pregnancy brain and mis-reading stuff can never be too sure haha .
