Base narrow (stands close) behind

it all depends on age of the horse. If it is only a youngster - say 3 or under it may well come out as the pectoral muscles develop so I would not be worried in a youngster at all.

If I was looking at a mature horse 5 or older with developed musculature then there will be problems with brushing, catching the legs, treading on shoes and ripping them off as well as possible joint problems as the angles of the legs cause pressure through the joints

Now that you've said she's a yearling she could well change as she gets older and her muscles develop. Any piccies of her?
