Bates Caprilli Dressage Saddle

Does anyone have one? What do you think of it? I've ridden in the Bates Isabella Werth and I liked that.


I think I have just persuaded my OH to let me get one.

I have a Bates Caprilli saddle for my mare and it is brilliant, it fits her really well as she used to push the other saddle I had over to the right. Apparently in young horses often the left haunch is stronger than the right and therefore they can do this, but this Bates saddle fits her really well and is very very comfortable. I had the saddler come out and fit her properly for it and it was his suggestion that this type of saddle would be the only one for her.

i have had mine and it's the comfiest saddle i've ever had-i spend 4+hours a day in it and could still do more. same with my very one sided arab mare-this desn't move on her. plus it has a lot of use in all weathers and stll looks smart enough for shows.well worth the money imo
