bates caprilli evetn saddle anyone got one?

if so (this may sound stupid) have you got any pics of it on your horse....i just want an idea of just how forward cut it is x

Ive got one, no pics but it is fairly forward cut, enough so that my whole leg is still in contact with saddle with jumping stirrups and ive got long legs with v long thigh

that doesnt look very forward cut at all.

it has a changeable gullet doesnt it? which i presume only goes up to a Wide maxium ?

thanks for posting photo. i find it so hard to look at saddles in catalogues etc when they arent on a horse back x

It is relatively forward cut, but no more so than your average GP. The gullets go right up to Extra Wide, but all come up quite generous. They are fantastic saddles, that was real value for money- it was brought to back my youngster and have changed it from a narrow medium to a medium wide! We have been able to fit it to everything we have put it on. Can't rate it highly enough!

i had one! and lobed it!! flat seat, forward cut and great support over the bigger fences! wud still have one if not give n a saddle!

Ahhh extra wide hmmm... did you say you have one for sale? dont suppose its 16 or 16.5 inch is it by any chance? x

Don't wish to cause a row, but the person who has posted the photo looks extremely like the caprilli GP (which I have) as the cantle is far too high to be the event saddle.

The event saddle has a v flat seat. I have only seen photos, but I think it is v forward cut. Have you long legs - if so would probably be OK for you.
