Are they as nice as they look? I'd like a jumping saddle and the adjustability appeals because I could hold on to it after Ryu is sold and we move. A girl at the old yard had one and I must admit I was drooling a bit over its looks, but would like to hear what they are like to ride on, I don't get on with blocks and pads and things that try to force you into place just want something that lets you ride short, my jeffries working hunter saddle is fine but when jumping my knees are over the flaps which is ok at the moment but I want more security for XC and bigger show jumps.

Ive got a Bates Caprilli jumping saddle and love it, but the Momentum does looks really nice, just cant afford one!

Ive got one...if your horse likes Cair it is fab. Puts you in very much a true jumping position, without being bulky....very comfy too hack out in too!!!

I found the Bates not so comfy but that could be my anatomy! I found it too high in the "twist" thus giving me pressure on my front pubic bone. Great jumping position, so it wasn't a problem unless I hacked in it.

Also, be sure it fits your horse not just widthways, but lengthways, for my horse now, the Bates is too curved i.e. for a more dipped back, needed to be a bit straighter/flatter lengthways, if you get what I mean.

That's good, perhaps being as yours is the caprilli (leather) and I had the bates newmarket brown, jumping saddle in synthetic. Same shape and everything (I had the caprilli dressage saddle and had exactly the same uncomfortable on my pubic bone thing) but perhaps better and more forgiving underneath for the horse. With air yes?

i tried the momentum and liked it-prefer my wow...however didnt fit my horse so never came into the equation!
