Bates/ wintec & tan on a skewbald

I have decided the easiest thing to do for my wb who is 3 and away being broken, to buy a bates/ wintec saddle for him- for every day use and eventually xc,
As they're changeable gullets, I had a gp bates before n it went with the horse.

So I really like the close contact, Inc pro wintec- wouldn't be able to afford the new momentum
Does anyone have experiences of them??

Also do you think tan suits a skewbald horse?
I aleady have brown tack for showing
