who reakons its gonna run then????
it hasnt run for the last 2 years but i really want it to run this tear so i can get jackers out....

I hope it runs as sis can't do the friday PN at Aldon and needs an early run before stepping up to novice with her two!!!
 
I do not think it will run. We have had so much rain and I think its due to continue so would not hold much hope. The years it has run have been pretty poor going. I always aim for Aldon now as first event as guarranteed to run.
 
Im not even bothering to enter cos even if it does run i reckon the going will be on the deep and sticky side. I think im better off waiting and will do Moreton as my first one.
 
There has got to be a reasonable chance of it going ahead. We went one year it was very wet and the ground held up pretty well. I would certainly be entering if I had something to take.
 
I think they will lose at least one day. They wanted to change the date this year but I guess they were not allowed. I would be very suprised if it runs again in March should it lose one (or both) days again.
 
I am waiting not very patiently for the Aldon entries to open - the date on the BE website is wrong so I got excited for no good reason!!
 
I am also waiting for Aldon to open as I don't hold much hope for B&W running. I spoke to BE this morning as Aldon entries supposed to open today and it's not on BDWP yet - am very impatient!!!

Spotted cat - when do they open then if the BE website is wrong????

LOL I emailed the entries sec and she told me not to panic her as the entries don't open for another week, hence they are not on BDWP yet. She said they open on 8th Feb.

Glad it is not just me!!

My colleague laughed at me because I was so excited this morning and the first thing I did was log on to BDWP to try and enter!!

I'm doing the Novice, how about you?

My OH was laughing at me last night because I told him that entries open today and I was going to log on first thing this morning and enter!!!

Am doing PN - not brave enough for Novice yet - maybe later in the season!
 
Bah, Aldon is one I do twice a year but this year as I am starting at Intro so I can't do it

Incidentally, has anyone noticed that Bath & West is supposed to be on BDWP and the entries opened today but all you get is last years one which has a big fat CANCELLED all over it? **Hurrumph**

Did the entries open today in the same way as the Aldon ones did? i.e. not actually at all and in fact they don't open for another week and the BE webby is wrong?!
 
Oh, I don't know SC, will have to find out! Although, B&W is a week before Aldon so technically they should have opened today?!

although for me it is a lucky event when we do get to go as its the only be event i have ever and prob will ever win!!!!!
 
im entering with the vain hope that it does run!
but knowing what it is like i have also entered a stressage comp on the same day.
i hope it runs otherwise my 1st run will be at belmont!! i cant wait that long!!
 
im going 2 tweseldown first. thought about bath and west but buster went lame on the xc at the october event so do fancy going back incase its jynxed!
