It was still a bit too hot to ride when the match was on so thought I would bath the horses - they didn't like the idea much judging from these photos taken about 5 minutes after the bath! I give up!:D

haha aww sweet. I washed my appy as well the other day but put him in his stable wet and all the dust just stuck to him which meant he got really dirty all down the side which was still wet *sigh* problems with grey/ coloured horses :P

The exact same happened to me, i plaited her mane and everything.:( First thing she does when i take the headcollar off is paw the dusty bit and then roll in it .... twice
I was going to ride but it is my villages open gardens so there are cars EVERYWHERE and loud music and kids and bleh, not the ingredients for a nice hack!

my pony does it all the time!! its cos u wash all the natural oils out and they dont like the smell so they want thier lovely smelly oliyness back!! lol

I bathed my boy and the mini shetland this avo - my god, the shettie can't wait to get into his paddock to roll, so goes straight down as soon as we are on gravel. Never seen anything like it, but he obviously does not like smelling of sweetness and light..
