My friend is clipping my mare for me on Wednesday, I need to bath her as she’s pretty dirty and want to get the grease out. I’m planning on doing this tomorrow evening, they give the temperature 15 degrees. Just wondered what peoples thoughts are and whether that’s a suitable temperature to bath in? Thanks

I think 15 degrees to Bath is fine but it might help to use some warm water to start off I leave buckets in the sun for a bit but I do have access to hot water I appreciatenot everyone does, or if you want to use a hose ride first so the horse is hot at least then scrape off as much water as possible and have a few good wicking rugs or stand and walk her in the sun to dry off.
