Bay Beasty

HOOORAH YOU ARE BACK!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO .... sorry but I missed you and your cheery way of always making me feel a million times better :D

I am ok, I wrote a thread a few days ago giving updates. I am still in agony most of the time and on the max amount of painkillers. I am going to try and cut down the codeine by half this week as it is just not good for me :p. I have not been able to really do anything all week, esp with the horse. I managed a sports massage on friday that helped but then didnt help as within 2 hours I was worse and really grumpy. I went to my friends RAF send off BBQ and survived the 80 minute drive there and back and spent the entire time sat in one chair and popped pills :) :D.

Jim i think feels abandoned and I am worried I have put his owner who I loan him off under too much pressure. she has a son, his two polo ponies (kept elsewhere) a puppy, her eventer and Jim to look after and her job have asked her to work more hours. so I feel a bit bad and am thinking to ask her to let them go on holiday in field for 5 days with her polo ponies so she can have a break from mucking put and driving all over the place. Jim has lost weight too as he has not been being fed as much as when I have him, and his bed is yuk but mum had drugged me up and she is going to come with me out to his stable in a bit and we are going to try and sort it. Dont worry I wont be doing much.

Got to go back to work tomo. I still walk twisted and with a limp and have to lie down a lot so probs wont make it through a whole day, but I feel I have to try. and i am going to see an osteopath friend monday and my other osteopath thursday which will hopefully help. If after all that i am still twisted I will go back to the doctors.

Whoops rambled on for a loooooong time. How was houston??? Did you have a brilliant time?

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :):):):):):):):):):):)

Yikes lass, you don't do things by halves do you!!!:eek::rolleyes:

It sounds like you might be getting better, a bit...? Do not over do it! Work would rather you were fit and well, but I understand your need to stick your head in.

I'm sure Jim does not feel abandoned lol. A few days in the field should do nobody any harm, and probably do everybody some good. Do not fret. A week or even longer will not be a problem. Dizz goes in and out of work like a yo-yo (lame again, ho hum), but we are always moving forward overall :)

Houston was big :D. Very big lol. And very flat and windy. Temps were 100+ every day, the humidity wrapped itself round one's body like a blanket . I escaped and walked to the local shopping mall (the Galleria), it took about five minutes each way and I got a tad warm on the way back lol. Didn't buy anything there as it was all Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, etc., and was pretty boring after the first two shops lol :p. I wanted a sports shop to get a jacket for a friend, but not one single sports shop in the whole place! Pah.

I spent the week in air conditioned hotel suite (which would have housed a family of five on a permanent basis quite happily :D:rolleyes::D), air conditioned car; air conditioned offices; and air conditioned restaurants :eek:. We were in the offices before seven and back after seven, so not a lot of time to anything else.
