Ooh, just sat down to catch up with this
Hector looks great, happy and pingy. Agree the more powerful canter helped but tbh we know he likes to be short don't we - if it were me on him I'd be going on four down that line all day long
Marty? I'd agree about the last few strides - don't know about you but it really bothers me when they are like that
(Control freak? Moi?) With Dylan I used to do loads of that JP/KC exercise with poles on the floor, bit like what GB and the other one were doing in our EHOA session. It did help - eventually
But at least he really operates when he gets to the fence which is reassuring
And as for HH - he is just edible, isn't he?? (Wouldn't be great for my diet, mind you) I would be supremely unconcerned by anything I saw in that vid, he has improved so much and is going the right way - as you say, he would have flattened those not long ago, with a slightly confused and befuddled expression on his face
I wouldn't be doing the 3 long strides thing with him either and actually think SC's exercise is a good one for him (although whether they "ping" the poles on the floor dpends on the horse, SC
) But I would just give yourself a pat on the back and say "Good stuff - Keep it up!" - Matt only saw a snapshot, after all...
