Baydale's Boys Bring Back Some Booty *with vids and photos*

Well it's about time you did something on here, because I have only just been wandering in and out now again and don't really know most of them anymore:eek: so now I have something to comment on.

Firstly, blimmin well done, Jup has the most odd way of jumping doesn't he, but I guess he gets over the fences, so who am I to to complain/criticise :D

And WHAT are you feeding them on???? Cal has put heaps on, he's a mini HH now!!!!!;)

Well done on the placings, you defo deserve them.:)

Well done, I was fence judging at fence 9, I know who you are now :) as i remember you telling those people to move, in fairness I did blow the whistle when I saw you coming round over 8 (I think they were in a world of their own!!!) Honestly, the amount of people that ignored the whistle did my head in, we had to shout at them as well!!

Well done to you and the boys on your placings :)

Well done Baydale - what a great result!! I was on jump 10 and like masterbronze we had plenty of people getting in the way of the fences whistle or not! In fact one mother decided to put her child ON THE SPOTTED DOG in the middle of the novice class. I blew my whistle and got out of the car and shouted at her to get the child off and she replied with some sort of "yeah, yeah, chill out" response - HONESTLY. I wish you'd have been coming at her then - that would have learned her! :D

But well done you and your superstar cheeky boys! I wish I'd have got to meet you and them too but was chained to the fence all day! BTW I'm near to Northallerton - do your parents rent out for events!!!?? ;) (Mine are too scared "something might happen" to join in the fun of eventing!!!) :D

Well done, fab results!

Your reports always make me smile, as did Jup jumping round the collecting ring, bless him, he is very cute!

Was nice to meet you and the lovely boys hopefully you'll be coming up North again :).

Yes it was Pat W judging Cal's class - soupdragon had her too and you could read her siggy unlike my one!

That is how reports should be done with all the pics and vids. Sadly I don't yet have an entourage and when I can do Gamebird can vouch the pics are rather special ;):p So mine are just plain boring.

Lovely to meet you and your boys are both fabulous. Last time you posted vids I decided I liked Cal best but now I think naughty Jup has swayed me - fickle I am ;):D

Don't get used to the exciting reports, normally it's just Fran and I, or m_m and I, more worried about whether we've remembered the picnic than the camcorder.;)

Funny how everyone lurves Jup, just no-one wants to take him home. I shall remember every comment and beware upsetting me or you might find him in your field one morning.:D:eek:

About time we got to hear what the cheeky boys have been up to - great result(s). What was all that about being fed up with the journey? Think you and the boys have arrived :)
I know you all only do it for fun - as does Rosie <cough> - but the odd rosette doesn't go amiss and tangible prizes are an added bonus :p ;)

Thanks T, I was more excited about the tangible prizes I think, although the rosettes were very smart too. Of course it's all about the fun,;) but the journey has to be to somewhere worth visiting.:D

Yes, I had same dressage judge - very nice comments and one of our best score so very happy!

This is why I don't do reports - billy no mates (or maybe it's because my 'luxurious' farm towing vehicle only has 2 seats and DHB is usually sitting in the other one!). You definetely need an entourage to get a decent report together.

Good to meet you too and well done on your 2 prizes!

It's those nice Yorkshire judges, I must travel further oop north more often.:) You're right about the entourage but I do quite like the two-man trips, it's just Ma and Pa Baydale like a day out in the country even though Ma B is in the lorry with her fingers in her ears when I go xc...

And WHAT are you feeding them on???? Cal has put heaps on, he's a mini HH now!!!!!;)

Well done on the placings, you defo deserve them.:)

Haha was just going to comment on the ahem remarkable transformation in Cal's girth. But Jup really is the roundest of all round things . I'll be happy to borrow him for a bit cos I think he even makes my lardy mare look skinny :D:p

The boys are lovely though! Well done on your placings - now get some more so we can see more Cheeky Boys reports :D;)

Ok, all this matchy matchy stuff is getting a bit much - matching rosettes whatever next

What a brilliant day - well done to the cheeky boys :D I'll join the queue for Cal, but can't say I'd be up to much trying to ride Jups, I think it would be like a rather terrifying ride on the dodgems :D

OK, let me get this straight, I don't come to groom for you and the CB's and you get Ma & Pa Baydale (or more importantly their picnic and cake) AND 2 rossettes?! That's the last time I'll be otherwise engaged (competing my own horses..... :p)

Nice to see you've managed to master the quick change between ponies. Wouldn't it be horrible if you missed your start times? ;) Also pleased you managed to get the Fat Boy between the flags on those skinnies :o

Oh yeah, almost forgot - well done :D:D:D

I love your reports :) :) Jup does make those fences look teeny tiny doesnt he?!?!

I know what you mean about smiling judges.....more often than not i note judges laughing during my tests and i never quite know how to take it.....could mean so many things and not many of them good!!

Super result though and you are clearly doing a fab job with them both. :) :)

Thanks L, I might have some Blue and White Pony photos for you later this week.:)

Generally at the end of my test I do this  and if I'm lucky the judge does this :), and I then follow it with a cursory pat of the pony and a rapid exit.

Awww, have you missed me wizoz?;)

Jup does look a bit odd, but it seems if you put them up he concentrates a bit better and looks more like a "normal" horse. Not sure if you can see this but k9h can probably publish the public link if you can't.

Cal is on the Baydale Diet, copious amounts of our own haylage, polos and plenty of "loves" and face rubs.:D

Ah, I'm glad you heard me even if they didn't. They did do a  face and look confused about which way to sprint! In their defence it was on a bit of an odd line between 8 and 10, but that would be no consolation by the time Jup had well and truly squished them.

Blimey it was a feast of HHOers that day.:p I could rent my parents out, but m_m has just got them to sign the adoption papers for her so you'll have to get her agreement too.;) Famously Ma Baydale spent the whole of my round at Blenheim in the Craft Tent with her fingers in her ears....that was well worth travelling 5 hours from Yorkshire for, wasn't it?

Jup's cuteness fades into insignificance compared with your girl's, she is divine. I loved her indifference to him when he dwarfed her while we were walking round chatting!:)

Doesn't Cal look great, even his bottom is round and shiny now, in true Baydale style...I mean my horses' bottoms of course...:o Feel free to borrow Jup, any time, just make sure your insurance is up to date. Last year he was called The Armbreaker, if you remember that?

That's about as matchy matchy as I get; I'm the one that looks like they get dressed in the dark. As you have your own shiny, round, bay pony I think Jup would be one too many, don't you?;)

Wahoooooo - been severely lacking in Blue and White photos recently, from my end too. I just put one from yesterdays ODE on fb but its distinctly unimpressive and really only serves to highlight how short my legs are :(. Hopefully you can up the Blue and white picture game.....will hold you to it :p

It's ok m_m, they've agreed to sign the adoption papers and I've put some cake to one side for you, as Chef d'Equipe you need some sustenance.:D

God yes, it would be awful to be told off for being late, wouldn't it? I was very polite and also very apologetic to the xc steward after the showjumping was running late, but she was very relaxed about it - another reason to go Oop North more often methinks.:)

Well done and such a great report and you got a rosette and didn't have to wrestle it from small children!!:D I too love Jup, he's just keeping you on tenderhooks giving an inkling of his talent!

I know, I know.:D I'd been planning some Clear Round jumping outings in the near future and would have stayed there all day until I got one, by fair means or foul.:p I will remind all the Jup fans of their love for him next time he's being foul....shouldn't be long until that happens.:(
