Baydale's Brown and Blue-and-White Boys Bother Belvoir PC

Bizarre.....there is definitely an imposter out there then.....was sure it was a kermit green hat - thought it was bespoke or patent protected?!!!!

Oooh scrummy ponies. I'm loving Jup, think he's trying to surpass the interloper Cuddles and malingerer HH to the title of Baydale's Best Boy :) -- just don't let him see those fabby pics of Ralphie with his knees tucked in tight or all the Bay Boys might gang up and pick on poor Ralphie this week (if you're not tethering him in a ditch overnight as part of his de-sensitisation.... :o)

Baydale's Best Boy needs to do a bit more yet to retain that title, wouldn't you say? Let's not have him resting on his laurels so soon in the season.

Yeah, my tough love today involved leaving him sleeping in the crew yard with a full haynet. I'm such a bitch.:D

Absolutely gorgeous, the pair of them :) You know I have always thought Jupe was the best of all the bay boys and as for Ralph, quite edible! His back-up jockey is salivating at the prospect of introducing him to the world of Juniors :p - once you've cured the trakehner problem, obviously, as we've had quite enough of them in our household

The thought of HH rolling downhill would be truly scary if it wasn't for the fact that you live in Lincolnshire and the nearest thing you've got to a hill is those things on your driveway :D

Glad to see the pony in disguise is loosing his waistline! Ralph umm looks rather keen! Well done on the 9th though :D

Hope HH is back to his normal self ASAP too

I felt like I burned off a few calories just getting to, and over, fences 1 and 2, so hopefully Chubby lost a few kilos too. Thankfully I'd carbed up on TarrSteps' chocolate brownies the night before. :)

Well done to Jupiter (definitely slimmer) and I'm glad to see you're continuing Ralph's education by squashing him mercilessly. Probably shutting his eyes while he prays that you'll send him to someone smaller and less cruel like, erm ..... Rosie (although she can be pretty cruel when she wants to be come to think of it, lol).

Squishing has been duly added to my skills set when producing horses; shame that it seems to go unnoticed by the 17hh+ hunters we've got.:( Ralph's owner is ickle so he only gets short periods of being squished by a big lump like me, so no need to call the RSPCA quite yet :)

Fair point, but I think it's a big step forward (well, a shuffle) that I'm no longer referring to him as The Armbreaker.... ;) However, I wonder what his reaction would be if he saw the size of Ralphie's haynet!!! :D

As for HH rolling down hills, a truly scary prospect *yikes*

Cutesy ponies as ever - and I think Jup's is even bigger in the flesh than he appears on the photos. (Oh and I'd hardly call finishing 1 place above you 'trouncing').

Signed:
Another Junior *cough* ODE-er :o

Jupe looks like he could almost, at some point in the distant future, and with the wind in the right direction, be an ok eventer. TS did say that he looked very 5yo when I was warming up for stressage: Mr-I-Am became Mr-I'm-Not-Really-Sure-About-All-This. Ralph, on the other hand, was Mr Don't-You-Tell-Me-What-To-Do, which was brave, I thought. I will ensure he is well tuned before Tilly takes over, just make sure you keep stunting her growth.:p

I admit HH wouldn't roll up one of your hills, but I was worried he was going to get stuck on his back like a sheep!

Ditto Bally being bigger in the flesh... ;)

Have you left your hat tags on too? :D I'm even more miffed now that you've reminded me you're more Junior than me too. Will the embarrassment never end? :(

Fab report Baydale and well done!! Jupiter is such a sweetie! and I Absolutely adore Ralph! Both look like they're having a wail of a time! Where is the Baydale gang out next? :D

Oh he has a new moniker now, The RugRipper. Not impressed that he managed it in his new cooler whilst tied up ultra short waiting to go on the lorry...

Thanks Hattikins, I'm glad you like them.:) Team Baydale will be at hunter trials, clear round jumping and PC ode's in and around Lincs for the foreseeable future.;) BE will have to wait a while to get my hard-earned cash.

Both the boys are looking great. Jup looks scarily like his uncle Hector in the pic over the log with the dangly legs (Jup that is not the log!)

I love little Ralph, can you squish him to 148cm, then he can be a FEI pony.

Jupiter doesn't need to pay attention, and anyway you are quite distracting enough what with the kick this way, and turn that way, sheesh, what is a brown horse supposed to do?
Now for a controvesial comment from me, *looks around furtively* I really like the blue and white pony, but if it were mine I would refer to him as two tone grey!

Sounds like a good day, with the exception of the scary ditchy fence, but sounds like that's well and truly sorted now! ;)

So sorry to hear you have a Hopalong. :( Did you make the mistake of telling him exciting plans for the season?! Hope it's nothing serious and he's just having a little bit of skiver-itus.

Yep, Jup has the "I'll just jump higher" mentality to leg organisation. :p

I may have to eat lots more Jaffas to squish Ralph that much....oh, ok then, I'll see what I can do. :D

I decided after fence 3 that if we were more or less in the old style "penalty zone" (you'll remember that, surely? ;)) there was a good chance we were going to get to, and over, the fence. Are you liking my more relaxed/less anal approach to cross country, or will the Safety Police come and take me away quite soon?

Oh...my....goodness.....you of all people being sucked in by a cute pony! I won't tell anyone, honest, but it may cost you. :D

I may have mentioned a few trips in the Baydale Bus to him, at which point he could be seen making shapes in the field, something akin to a a hippo having an epileptic fit. Ho hum, henceforth I shall become Baydale, Queen of PC ODEs. :D Or I will if _Rach_, meardsall_millie and all the children of our hunting friends give me a chance. :o

No thanks, the prospect of galloping at speed into fixed fences is about manageable, but doing that and having half a dozen other nutters doing the same thing at the same time scares the bejesus out of me.
