Very good program.

Apart from the women passing her on what was that person doing allowing the mare to get infoal. They are claiming money for the value of the horse plus the tack BUT what about the irresponsible act of allowing the mare to get in foal knowing that she had not the ways and means of keeping her.
 
I assumed the same. I was wondering why they weren't questioning how the mare became pregnant.

The poor other girl also, losing 2 horses to that evil person. Shocking
 
I don't really understand how that was a good result. Yes they got some form of compensation etc but the person who actually dishonestly obtained the horse(s) and then sent them to slaughter got nothing, also the slaughterhouse itself surely should of been fined or something. They should be checking they are the rightful owners. Disgusting and horrible thing to happen to the horses and upsetting for the owners. But I feel blame lies with them all partially, maybe not the second lady so much as she was in regular contact. I think they should be more of a point made of the dishonest 'loaners' who them sent them for meat and the slaugherhouses, they need to be fined or imprisoned surely they have pretty much handled stolen/stolen these horses! I would not be happy with that outcome if they were my horses.
I just hope the poor horses didn't suffer much :(
