!!

It's something that's irritated me for years now - he does it everytime I hear him and at the Windsor dressage the other saturday evening it was driving me mad!

Rant over and shoving myself back into my box!

Good grief I am not alone. I moan about this (much to OH's annoyance). "It's PERformance - not PREformance".

I think he also gets most words prefixed (or should that be PERfixed!!) with PER - wrong! PREhaps I'm wrong?!

He does tend to get his words in a mess - but so do many commentators . Could too much hospitality ( of the liquid , alcoholic sort ) be to blame ?

Stirs up hornets nest now - I'm sure Andy Austin (?)the SJ commentator is a nice bloke , but he is so bland ( runs off & hides again

You'd think with digital TV, there would be a "no commentary" option available for all sports coverage. I would prefer to listen to the crowd, the horses panting and whinnying, etc.

I also like his commentaries - it's just his pronunciation that I don't like.

It has nothing to do with "too much juice" - he just can pronouce his worms proper innit!
