Bloody bad form BBC

Red button should be available on free view. We've all got horses so no money or time to watch whatever's on Sky

I've arranged my whole night around the beeb's red button ... Only to have Raymond sodding blanc

You can only watch it on the red button if you have Sky. For people like myself who only have Freeview, we are stuffed.

Bad form to the BBC for not pointing this out and getting all our hopes up

Am lucky as I can get it. Coverage is brilliant tonight as they are doing it all live. Just watched the Lusitano display which looked so atmospheric on TV. Loved seeing it live on Friday and meeting up with three of the riders at Olympia (I spent a week training with one of them a couple of years ago). Even got to go and visit the horses in the Stables. How lucky am I?

Why should I have to have Sky to get BBC coverage - I pay the licence fee I think this is disgusting.

My feelings exactly. I have ordinary freeview (no cable or satellite setup), and feel well miffed about this.

No complaints from me, full coverage of tonights show as well as coverage on Friday and yesterday. I guess (unfortunately) they can't cater for everyone.

but why not when there are red button channels free and empty on freeview? It isn't like they are choca with other stuff, they are bothering to record and commentate on it, they have advertised it (and on general listings it never mentions sky only when they do this ).

talking to others some freeview+ seems to get it others don't so perhaps that is area specific?

and plenty of people have insufficient broadband speeds to be able to watch it online. Thankfully I am no longer one of them.

Watching it online but I really don't like watching programmes on the laptop, much prefer it on the big tv screen.

No red button here either. We don't have Sky or Freesat or Freeview, just a bog standard digibox. It's rubbish, we got the rest of the coverage as listed, but not tonight's, despite Clare Balding yesterday telling us all to tune in to the BBC Red Button this evening at 6.45 pm.

Suppose we should be grateful they're bothering to show it at all.

301 currently has Coldplay in concert Maybe there is a difference between freeview and freesat as well! That is mad as they are both free services.

i sent a complain online as like others am freeview and nowhere on their site does it state that there will be coldplay on any channel and yet it advertises the red button as having olympia - false advertising anyone?!
