BBC inside sport - "jockeys in danger"

tbh its what they do...flat jockeys have always had to do light weights, plus they want to do it, its their job, and their life. yes i know its probs not good for their health, but riding horses isnt good for your health either, cos you could get chucked off anytime and injured. tony mccoy for example has to sweat most days to get to racing weight and eats hardly nothing, but its the sacrifice they have to make, in order to be the best. they went into the industry knowing that they had to be light weight at the end of the day. intesesting vid though,

What will be the next earth-shattering discovery by the BBC after jockeys are underweight? Bears have a tendency to defectate in forested areas?

How else do the likes of Frankie etc do it!

They do not eat! They do not drink and they just run on adrenalin from each race!!!

Each race meeting has a dietician available but so is the gym and most courses have suanas now!

Its the handicappers that need a kick up the bottom for sticking the weights that low!
