Slightly self indulgent, and all those BE'ers need not worry... but...

Ahem....

After two and a half years away from the mud... BBs has booked in with the Taylors for a show jumping lesson on Monday GULP!
XC schooling being booked for the weekend after... and a little hunter trial scheduled in April

This is the plan, but I have my first dressage lesson since last June book for Saturday too.

Im getting a little bit excited and missing the eventing buzz although I shall always love the dressage and plan to continue to do this. Having the chance to go xc again on the little guy is quite appealing as long as we can knock the nappying on the head

YAY! Sounds fab... you will be out eventing before you know it
wink.gif
I've only had since last may out of it and am already missing it lots, but didnt realise until I went to Osberton at the weekend
smirk.gif
Are you not tempted to do the Unaff at aston in april?
smile.gif

Possibly, I shall only be doing unaffilated if I go back eventing anyway as I really like doing the dressage as i win money
laugh.gif

I do miss it, and miss not ragging around the countryside, but I dont miss the lack of money, endless training/lessons and early hours only to come home with a mediocre result.

Will you be there for April?

I really will try and attend even if i am not competing.

Hehe, just saw this on facebook. You are allowed to do dressage AND eventing you know
tongue.gif
Just make sure you clean your tack and don't forget to change jodphur colour to suit each discipline

Seriously though, WICKED

Know what you mean re. the expense, I'm probably going to be doing mainly unaff this year, though do want to do some 5yr old stuff with L

Won't be at the April one, Lucky is going on her spring hols in the field for a few weeks from the beginning of April hopefully... if there is one later in the year too, we will be there. Are you going to watch this weekend?

KatB, Im not there this weekend, teaching a load at my yard this weekend and having my own dressage lesson on Saturday which ive gotta box to.
Sunday I was planning to go but forgot I have tickets for Cesar Millan at Wembley that evening and horses are moving stables into the main yard so I have a lot of rubber matting to move grr! so not sure how I shall fit it all in.
But Im there on Monday!! did I mention that? lolxx

Yey!
You know as much as I love the dressage, it doesn't have the same thrill/excitement factor as the eventing, even if only as an owner at present!

Aww thanks guys.
Much appreciated it.
B&J I quite like the owner thing too, which is why I keep thinking Baydale can have him, but I would miss him, and I like having a posh dressage horse around.

You stick with the eventing ,we don't need you competing in dressage and taking the money, lol.
Glad you are enjoying, will probably see you with Penfold as we can't afford to do affil. with him so will be doing a few unaffil.

And about time too!
mad.gif
What's taken you so long?

Snoops promises to be on his bestest behaviour if you let him do more of that and less of the blingy gay-boy stuff.

T_E Winstons eventing days ended when his ringbone diagnosed. Although he's going xc schooling lol he is going to be so hard to contain... idiot boy.

Fan BLOODY tastic! That's what I think!

Oh Teapot you wolly! would have been lovely to meet you.
See you there this yeah eh?

He's good thank you, all the better for his mamouth osteo treatment which cost way over £5k and with nearly 12 months off... long haul but worth it.
He feels awesome scored 69% in a novice a few months ago and we've been out sjing tiny fences.
Love him to death lol
