i practiced the drop in at tweseldown, he put his brakes on at the edge then slid his front legs down, then paniced and had to cat leep off the side! I came completely off him but as I had my mobile and money in my pocket, my angels made me land back in the saddle! - no reins no stirrips ! - i only believe in angels when they help me !
He is getting better, we will see how borde goes - forgot they had that dark steep water ! oh well!
Have fun and bet you'll fly through-I'll come and hold a carrot out at the far side of the water to entice him through
(has worked before-xc schooling with a friend I was on the ground 'talking her through each fence' and her horse would NOT go over rather scary ditch-so after much enticement I jumped over, held out a carrot and he popped over....brings a whole new meaning to the carrot on a stick thing!)
Paris - If you could stand the otherside with his feed bowl - that would be perfect!
HJ - He can see home he maybe slightly more tempted, well be fine im sure, i didnt think there was anyway we would get round at matt but we went clear - he keeps surprising me !
The water is ok, its a log couple of strides to step in, splash through out and over another log about a stride away, they move the log closer for the novice
