Just wondering whether anyone has upgraded from being an Associate (free!) member of BD to a full member? I have done that very recently, but when I login to the BD website it still shows me as an Associate and asks me if I would like to upgrade!

I know it doesn't make any difference really, it is just a little niggle in the scheme of things :)

ETA - naturally the links in the BD e-mails don't work, I am quickly beginning to recognise that website maintenance is not BD's strong point :D

Paahhh hahahahahahah :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
A problem with the BD website, you say?! Whodathunkit?!

(sorry. not the least bit helpful. but there are SO many problems with the website, you are just seeing the tip of the iceberg,) Is it stopping you from accessing anything? How recently did you upgrade? Might be worth just dropping them an email if it's been a while. The ladies in the office are very helpful, it's just the pants website that is not great.

LOL well the membership department probably don't like me much, since I queried them returning my WHOLE application form because I hadn't completed the correct direct debit mandate - which, surprise surprise, was not available on the website.....I had supplied my e-mail and phone number specifically to avoid that happening :)

Ah well, like I say just a small niggle, I shall get used to their rubbish website then :)

Works best if you treat the whole thing like a game. How many points do I have today? What levels has my horse competed at this time? Which competitions have I been to unwittingly? :D

OMG really? I hadn't realised it was THAT good :) :) :) This is going to be so much fun, thanks for the heads up SMJA :D

oh god, yeah, keep your own records, fgs. I keep all my test sheets and have a piece of paper at the front of the folder with a tally of the points we've received.

Ha Ha, believe it is not just the web site, it seems the office is understaffed. I wanted to confirm I was qualified for regionals, but the web site did not show months of results, so I called.

The people in the office told me that they had no idea if I had qualified or not! I wanted to know if I needed another outing, as I DID have relevant test sheets, but wanted to avoid problems if any results were "lost" (yes, that has happened to me before).

I find BHS also difficult to deal with, but BE has been efficiency itself, you are able to join, renew, enter all online instantly, and often results are up n the web site before we have even driven home!

They drive me bananas. I'm still waiting for my record to be updated from a comp a month ago !! I so wish there was an alternative dressage organisation that I could join. For what I pay (what we all pay!) I really would have thought they at least owe it to their customers to keep records accurate and up to date. In my job if I didn't update files accurately I'd be strung up !!! A bit peed off ?? Me ??
