I had a fab weekend at Addington attending the BD National Convention. It was great to spend some time with lovely friends out of the wind and rain, watching some super combinations, and I have picked up loads of ideas of exercises we can incorporate into our training. The three presenters/trainers - Michael Eilberg, Chris Bartle and Daniel Bachmann Andersen - all complemented each other well and each brought slightly different slants to the event. The overriding theme that I took away from all three was to give more with the hands, and allow the horse to take its nose more forwards and lengthen the neck. This video is a compilation of a few short clips I captured on my phone - I hope they give a flavour of the weekend for those who weren't able to attend. Hopefully others who attended can also add their feedback.
