Is there a particular reason I have to include an SAE with EVERY entry?

I hadn't realised I needed to until The venue I went to today charged me for one becuse I hadn't included it. No one else has said anything.

I thought it might be to send tests back but I gave one in today. And, on that matter; how long does it usually take to get your test sheets sent? I haven't had mine from the comp I entered on sunday.

yes you have to send one with every entrya nd yes it so you can get your score sheets back and no I have no idea what they do with all the SAE's that aren't needed after every comp but it's part of the rules so you have to do it.

Yes, as Ali says, it is part of the rules to include the SAE.

I used to religously send mine and some venues would hand back a fistful of unused ones periodically, but have to say that I never send one now.
I have never had to leave before the end of the class anyway but maybe it would be a good idea to keep one in the lorry/car in case you need one.

I gave up sending one in the end, it never got used and if I needed my test sheet sent to me i would hand in an envelope at the competition. It was never a problem

I'd (finally) noticed in the smallprint that you're supposed to send one, but never have...& once I'd noticed I still didn't bother cos no-one had ever said anything... And now I know why. I take one with me in case I'm in such a huff after my 'turn' that I have to stomp off home straight away...

Thanks everyone. Thing is, I always carry 5 pre made SAE's (very organised you see). So handed one into today but they still took it even though I had to add the cost for one with my entry.

Like i said, I didnt with the other entries so wont do in the future, but will remember to do so with this venue.

Thanks for clearing this up!

you should recieve your tests in the middle of the week. id phone equisense and ask where yours are as you should have had them by now.

If i stay to colect my sheets i always ask for my envelope back from the secretary. At sparsholt they leave the envelopes out for you to collect if you want to, which i think is a good idea.
