My BD Membership has now expired, however I am going to go out and do some BD probably in April. The horse im competing is registered BD, so what do i do? Can i ride a registered horse and not register myself? Or do i have to compete on a ticket?

Since I dont compete anymore all the BD rules have passed me by!!

I think you will have to compete on a ticket - as far as I am aware (barring Prelim) all the riders have to be registered, it's only horses that can compete up to a certain level unregistered (and they have to be registered to compete in Areas and Regionals)

Hiya - hope you are well

Yes riding once a week on my YMs horse, took him out and did an unaffliated on him back in November and want to do some affliated on him now. Hes already registered but has a very small amount of points. Just trying to find somewhere near me that does a long areana medium test - seems to be impossible!!

Might you be able to find an unaff medium somewhere? One or two centres near us do it as a elem/med 'pick a test' judged on percentage....

I'm good thanks and miraculously so is P although I hesitate to say that in case it all goes wrong again. We have plenty of long arena medium tests up here - you'll have to pop up to Essex

Yes they do unaffliated near me with PYO, but i want to affliate him as what to see what sort of marks he gets at an affliated competition. I unaffliated him last November and want to do a couple of affliated classes now.

Glad P i doing well, thats great news

Think Essex is a little too far from us!! Now i dont compete much i like to go to venues that are near me! Im in no rush so just going to wait until the right test/venue come up!!
